At Adams, our offsite destruction services are most efficient and cost effective for businesses requiring regularly scheduled services. Our plant based destruction services are NAID certified.
This certification, determined by the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID), requires that members complete a rigid, 26-step analysis of security procedures and that they are audited throughout the year. Ultimately, what this means is that your documents are safe and secure at all times.
Here's how it works: a uniformed Adams specialist will collect your materials from the securely locked containers throughout your office and transport them to our offsite destruction facility. A work order receipt is provided at the time of collection, thus maintaining the chain of custody for the records. Next, all material is comingled at our secure plant facility, where it is destroyed beyond recognition. Finally, the shredded material is sent to recycling for the production of new paper products.
After the process is completed, a Certificate of Destruction is provided. Over 90 percent of our customers utilize our offsite destruction services over mobile shredding because of its convenience, effectiveness and cost savings. Most all compliance and regulatory agencies accept offsite destruction as the industry standard.
